The AVK-820Z-IR Extender transmits HDMI with IR over one CAT6 UTP cable up to 40 meters (131.2 ft.) in 1080p, or 60 meters (196.8 ft.) in 720p/1080i. The extender consists of a Transmitter unit (AV-822ZT-IR) that connects to a HDMI source and IR emitter, a Receiver unit (AV-811ZR-IR) that connects to an HDMI display and IR receiver.
