1. Aspheric mirrors and spheric mirrors are suitable for focus adjustment, convergence, and image forming without color aberration. Aspheric and spherical mirror are used for focus adjustment, convergence, image forming with low color aberration. Reflection mirror applications are from laser beam confinement to instrument sub-assembly and high performance image. Especially, long focal length reflection mirror conveniently applied to laser beam alignment.
2. The aspheric mirror applications are more massively used. COT successfully developed aspherical mirror manufacture process for the astronomy telescope with low cost and high quality. With astronomy fan affirmative, COT already had highest quantity and value delivery in Asia for aspheric mirror.
